Mampintsha’s Friend Slams The Government For Throwing Babes Wodumo’s Husband A Lavish Funeral

Mampintsha’s friend Dogg DNB has come out to slam the government for throwing Babes Wodumo’s husband at a lavish funeral.

In an official statement directed to the South African government, Dogg bashed the government for spending lots of money on Mampintsha’s funeral without planning for his son’s upkeep.

He argued that the government should have invested those funds into his son’s future and education.

Dogg also blasted the government for not assisting Mampintsha when he was still alive.

“It was a very great send-off and as his friends and colleagues, we appreciate seeing you [the government] active in things that have to do with our industry, even though it was at a sad occasion…

“My only concern is, and I had to write to you when I got home after the funeral because people were talking about how ‘beautiful and posh’ the funeral was. That just broke me, because I know this is not the kind of lifestyle my brother lived,” reads part of the statement.

Mampintsha’s friend bemoaned how the province and city failed Mampintsha and all the other artists. Dogg also argued that his friend Mampintsha would have opted for the government to fund his son’s education rather than throwing him an expensive funeral.

Our province and city failed Mampintsha like all other artists. What is the purpose of having an expensive funeral when Mampintsha has a kid that needs to go to good schools and needs to live a comfortable life?”

I know for a fact that he [Mampintsha] would rather have you use all that money for the benefit of his son’s education rather than a flashy funeral,” he added

Dogg DBN’s official statement attracted outrage on social media as netizens bashed him.

He later took down the statement but not before Twitter detectives had retweeted the statement.
